For those who want an authentic Malagasy culinary experience, our menu offers Traditional Malagasy dishes as well as European dishes and grills. Our specialty dish is the wild duck hunted by the Lac Hotel founder Kim, and our irresistible ginger lake tilapia. You can enjoy these dishes in our panoramic restaurant or on our shady terraces by the lake. All our dishes are prepared from locally grown, fresh quality organic products. Most of our products come from our own personal, two hectares sized, vegetable garden and all of our breads, yogurt, cheese, are made in house.

Our suggestions

All our products (cheese, bread, vegetable, salad, yogurt) are homemade and grown on site. All salads and vegetables are washed with permanganate to ensure cleanliness. In respect of the local environment and ecology, our choice in meals is limited to fresh products available within season in the Sahambavy region.

By train, it is 2 minutes from Sahambavy Station (train connecting Fianarantsoa and Manakara), By road, it is 45 minutes from downtown Fianarantsoa, and also accessible by National Highway 7 Tananarive by turning left in the village of Ambalakely (Shell station) A shuttle service from the hotel is available for your transportation
